In spite of all the research being done there is no accurate way of determining why cancer affects some people. But there are certain things a woman can do to prevent herself from becoming a victim of cancer.
If you have a family history of cancer then be aware. If your female relatives have suffered from breast or cervical or other cancer then your chances of getting affected are much higher than normal as cancer can be hereditary. Speak to your physician about it so that you can get the proper screening done or go in for genetic counseling to find out how much or whether you are at risk.
Watch what you eat. Have a proper diet, cutting out fats that cause obesity as this also can lead to cancer. Eat a high-protein fiber-rich diet. You should also exercise simultaneously, for overall health. If you exercise at least five times a week for half an hour each time you are reducing the risk factor for cancer.

Breast Cancer is the second most common type of cancer after cancer of the lungs. We don’t know why but Breast Cancer is like an epidemic amongst women. Another important thing to note is that breast cancer can affect men also. Against every 100 women, one man is diagnosed with it. Women less than 20 are less like to get breast cancer as compared to someone over 45. It can happen at any age so it becomes all the more important for women to get themselves checked against Breast cancer regularly.
Inflammatory Breast Cancer is a unique type of cancer and its not very common. In Inflammatory Breast Cancer doesn’t develop lump in the breast, which makes diagnoses rather difficult. Mammograms cannot detect it so easily. The skin and lymph vessels of the breast get infiltrated in Inflammatory Breast Cancer. As inflammatory breast cancer cells block lymph vessels, the breasts become swollen, red and feel slightly warm. Other symptoms may include presence of enlarged lymph nodes under the arm or above the collarbone on the side that is affected.

Through this piece of writing I am going to share with you of some fundamental, basic and yet simple ways to Fight Breast Cancer. I am including both situations - how to avoid getting breast cancer and second if you’ve been diagnosed with it, what will help to fight it better.
One of the Best Ways to Fight Breast Cancer as confirmed by Leeds University after doing research is by eating more of cereal fibre. Amongst pre-menopausal women fibre as part of daily diet will help them reduce the risk factor associated with breast cancer.
Women can cut their risk straight to half by including cereal fibre in their diet.

Cancer has no symptoms as such; therefore it becomes all the more important that we undergo appropriate cancer check ups regularly thereby restricting risk factors associated with cancer. The following symptoms can also result from simple infections but if they persist and you observe something abnormal about them it’s time to get an appointment with doctor for a detailed check up.
If you have cough and it keeps recurring in spite of taking medicines. If you notice blood in saliva, visit doctor. If you have pencil thin stools or diarrhea that wouldn’t improve in spite o medicines or like cough keeps recurring.

The answer to this question is ‘Yes the cancer can recur.’ This is unfortunate, especially as it has been a difficult time for you going through the diagnosis and the treatment. You may still be on drugs as part of the treatment. There is a risk that all the tumors were not destroyed during the therapy and so the cancerous cells are still there. A doctor should have warned you that the chances of prostate cancer recurring are high and therefore you should be watchful and treat the symptoms quickly.
If the cancer has not spread beyond the prostate then it can be cured. However, it cannot be determined with certainty as to how far the cancer has spread to other parts of the body and whether all the cells have been eliminated. There should generally be a process of monitoring even after you finish with the treatment and it seems that the cancer has been removed.

Treating cancer involves removing and/or destroying cancer cells from the body. This can be achieved by several methods - Radiotherapy, Chemotherapy, going under surgeon’s knife, hormone therapy and biological therapy. Which type of treatment to take or choose depends upon number of factors, like the type of cancer, stage of cancer and age of the patient have an important role to play.
Hormone Therapy is applied in combination with Radiotherapy or Chemotherapy. And it’s generally applied when a person is affected with breast or prostrate cancer. To reduce the amount of estrogen or testosterone in the body one either goes for removal of the affected parts by way of surgery or takes chemo.

The incidence of nasal cancer is quite rare and men are more likely to be affected than women. It constitutes about 0.5% of cancer cases and occurs more commonly in people of lower economic status. More cases of the disease have been observed in Asia and other eastern countries than in Western countries but perhaps due to better diagnosis the number of cases is rising all over the world.
Nasal cancer is caused by a number of risk factors. The use of tobacco in any form leads to this cancer. The more the use, the greater the risk. If you’ve had a transplant and you’re taking antirejection drugs it will increase the risk. AIDS also lowers your body’s immunity and increases the chances of cancer. Sometimes viral infections cause bacteria to enter the nose and change the cells into cancerous ones.

Anal cancer is a rare type cancer that affected men more than women but of late the trend has gone through a change and women are as prone of it as men. Likewise, older people are more likely to develop anal cancer than the young. The exact cause of anal cancer is not known but there are certainly several risk factors responsible for anal cancer.
Continuous research is going on in the field of anal cancer and doctors are coming up with new risk factors every day. If your body shows several of these risk factors, you must see a doctor but needn’t assume you may have anal cancer. The symptoms may be because of a simple infection also. So until you have gone to a doctor don’t jump to conclusion. But don’t take the risk factors causing anal factors casually either.

When you are feeling unwell in anyway and visit your doctor, the doc will prescribe a course of treatment and wait for you to respond positively to antibiotics. If you don’t and in the mean time your doctor notices certain other symptoms, he/she will refer you to a specialist. The symptoms or causes that the doctor notices can be one or more from these;

Male breast cancer is rare but men do have breast tissue so they need to be aware that they are also susceptible. The percentage of men getting this type of cancer is very low, about 0.20% to 1%. The testosterone in men prevents them from developing breasts but it consists of mainly small undeveloped ducts and a certain quantity of fat and connective tissue.
Breast tissue in men does not produce milk and is in the area behind the nipple. Breast cancer in men is similar to the cancer women get in that it is because of the unrestrained growth of cells in this tissue. Men of any age can develop this cancer but the cancer has been found mostly in men aged 60 to 70 years.
