Q. Who can be affected with breast cancer?
A. Any woman is at risk of breast cancer. Breast cancer normally affects women but there have been 1% cases where even men have been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Chances of breast cancer do increase with age though even young women can get it.
Q. Does breast cancer result in death of the patient?

The primary treatment for breast cancer is surgery which removes the cancer. There are three major types of surgery. First one being Breast Conserving Surgery wherein either a lumpectomy or partial mastectomy is done to remove part of the breast that is affected.
The second treatment is Mastectomy where the entire breast is removed. And the third treatment is where the lymph nodes affected with cancer are removed and it is called Axillary Nodes Dissection.
Patients whose breast cancer is detected while still in primary stage can opt for Breast Conserving Surgery. If the cancer is at an advanced stage doctors may suggest the patient to opt for Mastectomy. At the time of surgery, most patients also have opt for Axillary Nodes Dissection to check if cancer has spread to the lymph nodes. Our body is the smartest ‘machine’ ever created. And how we fail to take even basic care of it. Especially when it comes to children we need to be extra careful but many of us aren’t. We ourselves are responsible when it comes to creating an environment for disease in our own bodies and of our children. Coffee seems to be a curb for many types of cancer. Link between coffee consumption and cancer risk are being reviewed very regularly. So the next time you make or order your latte you are doing yourself a favor in more ways than one.Initially just the opposite was considered true – that may be cancer and even moderate consumption of coffee may prove to be cancerous. But there is no scientific reason for believing that moderate consumption of coffee can increase the risk of developing cancer in any part of body.
According to the studies reviewed by researchers like Francesca Bravi, ScD of the Istituto di Ricerche Farmacologiche “Mario Negri” in Milan, Italy, coffee drinkers as comapred to those who do not drink coffee are 41% less likely to have been diagnosed with liver cancer. It is not incorrect, just unusual in terms of information that wheat allergy can be harmful to the extent that it can cause cancer. But it is true. The studies and researches have shown that gluten, a protein found in wheat can cause cancer and may other health related problems.Wheat for most people is a preferred and comfort food. Be it bread, pasta, bagels or pretty much anything along those lines. It is a universally accepted and a chosen and preferred food for most. Colorectal cancer is type of cancer that develops in the colon (or large intestine) or rectum. Mostly beginning as a small clump of cells known as polyp, which become cancerous and attack and infect the wall of the intestine.
There are certain types of polyps. Important ones are Adenomatous polyps or Adenomas, which have the potential to become cancerous. Adenocarcinomas are cancers of the glandular cells which line or affect the inside layer of the wall of the colon and rectum.
