<description>Thanks for sharing the benefits of apple peel. The National Cancer Institute has reported that foods containing flavenoids such as those found in apples, may lower the risk of lung cancer by up to 50 percent. The skin of apples has roughly five times the phytochemical content of the pulp. We would recommend purchasing organically grown apples to avoid pesticide residue. Apple cider is made using whole apples including the skin is therefore a better option than apple juice as well.
