An Italian study was recently conducted in Rome, where it followed 60 Italian women aged 20 – 35. Clenbuterol, or Clen for short, is the latest weight loss craze to hit Hollywood though it has been used in the weightlifting community for years. The fat burning results are spectacular, earning this drug the nickname of the “size zero pill,” but it is neither safe nor legal. People whose weight fluctuates often are putting themselves at serious risk of developing gall stones. Athletes who cycle weight (intentionally gaining then losing weight) for competition are dramatically increasing their chances of developing stones.

The University of Kentucky Medical Center performed a research study of over 25000 men, the men reported any change in weight over a period of four years and were then grouped into one of four categories: those who maintained their original weight, those who were lightly cycled (a five to nine pound fluctuation), those who cycled moderately (a ten to nineteen pound fluctuation), and those who heavily cycled (more than twenty pound fluctuation).

The banning of trans fat in New York has led people to believe that they can now chomp away merrily and eat double whoppy burgers to their hearts content and still shed the pounds.

SORRY but NO.  The new replacement to trans fat still contains the same amount of calories so if you do continue to chomp away merrily the pounds will continue to mount up.

Choosing a safe weight loss program is not the same as choosing a weight loss program. There are many questions which you should find answers to before joining any weight loss program.

Before you decide to follow a certain diet regimen you should know the pros and cons of it. More importantly you should know what you are expecting from the program. Some weight loss programs may ask you to visit their centers for meetings and group discussions, while others may tell you to work on losing weight at the comfort of your home.

Overweight, fat, obesity, plump, It doesn’t matter how you say it, if you are any of these then it is quite probable that you have tried at least one diet in the bid to shed some of those pounds.   You could spend a fortune on the huge array of pills or potions on offer in the market place. If you believe in fairies then you are likely to believe the wild promises they give.  You hand over your hard earned money and POOF it is gone, but not the fat that you are so desperately trying to remove.

by Vahid Chaychi | Weight Loss | Sunday, December 17th, 2006

People believe when they want to lose weight they have to control their diet and the amount of the daily calories they receive and unfortunately they forget about exercising whereas losing weight can be easily done with proper diet and exercise. This is more common in women whereas most of them know that physical activity is more important. It is because it is easer to buy low calorie products.

Most people think that exercising can be replaced by low calorie food because they have to go to gym to burn more calories and so they think if they take less calorie it is equal with exercise. Do you think they are right? They can not be right because you don’t go to gym just to burn the extra calories. This is only one of the things that exercise does for you.
