		<description>Thank you for visiting our website. Broccoli and cauliflower have sulforaphane (SFN) in abundance. SFN has Chemo preventative potential and it is being evaluated clinically further.  As per research at Rutgers cruciferous vegetables are found to have SFN compound. They did certain experiments on rodents and observed that SFN produced the cancer preventive effects by inducing apoptosis (programmed cell death) and inhibiting proliferation of the tumors. Regarding the mechanism SFN employs to accomplish it is not known.
