Health Team Reports; Do we Believe Them?

If we were to believe every report that is given out by health teams around the world we would all end up as hypochondriacs or skeletons.

So what do we believe?

Let’s start with food.  The English mans favorite meal “breakfast” bacon must be grilled so every drop of fat is taken out. Oh how dry it is.  Eggs boiled or poached, hate poached and boiled do not go with bacon.

Fried mushrooms! Of course not, try them cooked in water, yucky are you kidding this is breakfast.  Fried tomato! No chance. Fried bread! Sorry shouldn’t have even mentioned that one.

So if you’re brave enough to order a full English breakfast including the sausage, in a hotel or where members of the public are present, be prepared for gasps of horror even though they are probably downright envious of you.

In the US we know that they have banned trans-fats in restaurants, and other places are following suit. Probably a wise move, but the tasty burgers and fast foods that the US people love are probably now just as dry as our bacon.

Mind you I might be wrong I live in the UK so that is just speculation.

So many foods are supposed to be bad for us. We know that people from some European countries live longer because of their diets, but we also know they have a slower pace of living which must help.

Can you imagine existing on salads and fruits and of course pasta in the middle of winter? And what about the insecticides used on our fruit and veggies, are they healthy?  We can’t all afford organic foods free from the poisonous insecticides.

Have you tried the low fat milk? If you enjoy drinking water you’ll love the milk. Perhaps they should come up with something to encourage the cows to give low fat milk; after all they tamper with everything else.

Here’s a thought! I wonder what the US will do with all those outsize clothes when the nation is reduced to slim nymph like people!

What will happen to the hospitals if we become a nation of health addicts? Perhaps they’ll do away with them and save money.

And can you imagine a life without taking pills of some sort, and what of vitamin tablets that multi billion pound business. I wonder if we’d get withdrawal symptoms if we stopped taking them!

Smoking (scream) quick hide under the table in case someone sees us, yes we know its bad for us but what isn’t in this world of killer infections, bird flu, car accidents, bombs etc etc.  No I haven’t forgotten the pollution caused by the chemicals emitted from the nuclear power stations or the pylons that give out their cancer causing waves.

This world of ours has gone too far to turn back, let’s just hope there’s a bend in the road somewhere.
