Holidays and Extra Calories Problems

Everybody loves holidays. You don’t go to work, you see your friends and relatives, you go parties and … but there is one problem with it that can be sometimes a big problem.
Holidays always come with some special problems like increasing the rate of drinking and driving, accidents and also some other health problems like heart attacks because of drinking or eating too much.
Extra calories is another problem. During the holidays you eat more than what you were used to and because you can have less physical activities, these extra calories can be problem. If you learn how to calculate the amount of the calories you take you can easily stop eating when you see you are eating more what you need.
This is a good way but if you don’t pay any attention to the extra calories, then you will have to spend lots of time and energy to burn them and if you don’t do that they will remain in your body and you will gain weight. I don’t want to talk about obesity problems in this article because I will spend more time on it in other articles but something I want to let you know is that even if you don’t like to calculate the calories you will take before eating something at least you can think how much time you have to spend to burn them off. This also will be a good help to prevent you to eat too much.
For example …
- To burn off the calories of 226 grams of prime rib, you have to spend 230 minutes of Yoga.
- To burn off the calories of a Starbucks Caramel Macchiato, you have to spend 38 minutes on the bike.
- To burn off the calories of a piece of cake, you have to spend 81 minutes on the bike.
- To burn off the calories of a Burger King, you have to walk for 173 minutes.
So what do you think? You see it will not be easy to get rid of the extra calories you store in your body. Hope you are aware of the fat and obesity problems. You know that they not only put more pressure on your heart and lungs and most of other organs but they increase the risk of cancer. Specially in women, it is proven that those who have more fat in their body, have higher risk for being involved in breast cancer. So by ignoring these facts, you accumulate carcinogen substances in your body.
You can still enjoy holidays without eating too much and by having enough physical activates.
