Foot Care – Oh Those Poor Tired Dawgs (1)

Others | Monday, January 1st, 2007

So many of us forget about the care of our feet.  Once we cover them up with socks, shoes, or slippers we forget about them. Too, many people think feet are not important, or that they are not pretty, so why bother doing anything about them, until there is a hang nail, nails need cutting, or they ache.

These poor little dawgs really take a beating! Just think about your weight, and how many square inches the surface of the bottom of your feet have, divide your weight into square inches per foot, and you will be amazed how much pressure is applied to your feet standing, walking, running and climbing! Yet, they are the last thing we think about when careing for our bodies.

Caring for our feet is very important when we think about the awsome tasks they perform, both physically and mentally!

Having healthy feet gives us a sence of well being.  When our feet hurt, the whole body feels horrible.  Having healthy feet makes it possible to want to get a lot of activities accomplished, and they give us mobile freedom.
