Tea Tree Oil the Housewives Jewel

Although many people have heard of tea tree oil they may not realize that the properties it contains can cure many ailments. It also has many uses and it is a very useful addition to the household.

On the medical side it can be used to heal blisters, reduce the swelling from insect bites and stings and it is excellent for cleaning and healing any cuts or abrasions. It will cure a sore throat and those nasty cold sores that appear on your lips etc.


Other uses are the healing of acne and athletes foot and it is also a cure for coughs and those painful dental abscesses.

A few drops in your shampoo and the bath will keep your hair and skin clean and healthy, use a few drops with your toothpaste and it will prevent gum infections and bad breath.

It will also soften corns and calluses and make them less painful, and if you get sunburnt dab it on to take the sting out of the sunburn.

That is not all; it is also a useful addition to the household chores due to its anti bacterial properties. A few drops in the washing machine and the dishwasher will kill any germs, and a few drops in the humidifier will disinfect and refresh the air. Over the years it has proved itself as a natural antiviral, antibacterial, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory oil, in fact it’s a veritable housewives jewel so visit your local health shop now and ask for Tea tree oil.
