The Invisible Mosquito Monsters

Others | Sunday, December 24th, 2006

Mosquito are tiny insects that lay their eggs in water. If you live by a stream or a pond or even a canal you have every chance of being bitten by these little monsters.

The bites are painless that is the problem you don’t know you have been bitten until the irritation begins. The female mosquitoes live by drinking the blood of any unsuspecting person or animals; it may be hours before the itching begins and the bite will now noticeable. It has a white centre with a red ring around it. Scratching the bite will increase the irritation, so dab on some calamine lotion to ease the itching.

If you are thinking of relaxing in the garden during the day time or the evening it is advisable to use an insect repellent  and stay bite free.
