I guess my neighbor visited this site yesterday. I got word in the afternoon that metformin was what she was going to the hospital for overdosing on. I worked to get off that med and now don’t have to take it at all. She has kids and I think it was selfish for her to not be thinking about them when she did this to herself.

I think suicide is selfish and it hurts people around you in your life who love you.My 2 year old daughter found a metformin pill my visiting grandma dropped took it and went through every symptom of overdose besides death but was minutes away from it,can you imagine how it feels being a mother holding your child in your arms while she has seizures and then goes limp and becomes unresponsive,I came within 6 minutes of losing my daughter without knowing it and the pain I felt is unbearable,its a helpless feeling and makes you feel like you failed as a parent,although my child didnt know what she took would do that I could have taken proper cautions to prevent this from happening,now imagine how your mom,dad or whoever has that undescribable love for you would feel,you would hurt them.Suicide is not a joke by any means and all of you that commented on such a serious topic is a heartless was are pathetic exscuses for a human being may god find mercy on your souls when judgement day comes.
