It has not been established as to what causes ovarian cancer. It refers to a malignant growth in one or both ovaries. Ovarian cancer has few early warning signs or symptoms so it is generally found only when you have medical tests for other illnesses or maybe a surgery like a hysterectomy.
While the cause of ovarian cancer cannot be determined there are a few risk factors that must be considered. Genetic factors are a main risk factor as if you have a family history of breast or ovarian cancer you are more at risk. Certain women carry mutations of the BRCA1 or BRCA2 gene and are seen to be at high risk for developing ovarian cancer and that too at a very early age. Older women and women who have never had children are at risk. If you already have a history of say breast or colon cancer then the chances of you developing ovarian cancer are also higher.

More American men die of prostate cancer than do men in, say, China or Japan. This is because of the differences in diet and lifestyle. The fat intake for Americans is higher than that of Asian men as their diet consists of more convenience rather than fresh food and includes more animal fat. Asians on the other hand have a diet full of vegetables, soy, fruits, fiber, and fish.
The incidence of prostate cancer has been directly linked to the intake of fat. So as the latter increases in the form of diets with increased use of butter and other fats and red meat, so the number of cases of prostate cancer has also increased. So dairy products and red meat that are saturated fats should be off your food list or else in smaller proportions, and this includes turkey or chicken, which will have hidden saturated fats.

Chemotherapy leads to anemia and anemia reduces energy level and may affect the patient’s ability to get the maximum benefit from the cancer care and treatment that he/she is undergoing.
Anemia means to have lower-than-normal number of red cells in the blood. Red blood cells are important because of their role in carrying oxygen from the lungs to all the cells in the body. And since when cancer cells have started to multiply the RBC is not able to handle oxygen supply properly. Some of the primary signs of anemia are shortness of breath, generally feeling week and dull and fatigue, pain the chest, headache, inability to concentrate, dull skin, loss of sex drive etc.

Cancer cells kill as white cells replace all the blood and arteries become clogged with pus. Thus cancer kills in a very mechanical way. Ovarian, colon cancer and most cancers related with GI tract kill by causing hindrance in a patient’s bowel movement.
Lung cancers cells kill by invading into an artery or the bronchus is obstructed. Breast cancer cells kill by metastases in the brain that causes a growing intracranial pressure. Plastic thyroid cancer cells kill by choking the patient slowly and no surgery in the world can cure it on a permanent basis.

You like that tanned look—all golden and healthy looking. But do you know that you get it at a price if you are sunbathing? The sun’s ultraviolet rays damage the skin. Men don’t take as much care of their skin as women do so they don’t pay attention to those telltale moles and changes in the skin. And the statistics show that men are at higher risk of skin cancer than women, especially older white males. And an increased number of sunburns puts you further at risk.
About 30,000 men are expected to develop skin cancer this year according to the American Cancer Society. Skin cancer can be either nonmelanoma or melanoma and of these there are the squamous carcinoma and basal cell carcinoma.
